Hey folk, I fell in love with gemstones many years ago. My jewelry business started with Freshwater pearls being paired with gemstones. I knew from the beginning I didn’t want to be like everyone else. Learning about the grades, Gemstone grading is assigned by letter. AAA is the highest grade while D is the lowest depending on where you shop. For natural gemstones led me to gem shows and bead stores that are a cut above craft stores. Working with A-AAA quality gemstones was always the goal. (A grade gemstone beads are considered good quality beads with slight inclusions. AA – AAA grade gemstones beads are usually more expensive, higher quality, and near-perfect.) These gemstone beads are not usually color-enhanced. once achieved, I had to accept the fact that friends and family members wouldn’t support me. It was painful to hear negative comments about my passion. When I working so hard to produce premium quality gemstone jewelry sets I love what I do and I will continue to raise the bar with my creations. Using sterling silver and 14kt gold filled beads and clasp in my designs are my metals right now. 14kt Gold and platinum will be my up grade one day.
